we may need a more elegant solution for "European" releases. The Euro entered circulation at the start of 2002, but it wasn't until May-ish until older currencies stopped being legal tender. That means there's about a 5 month window where games could have officially been priced in both Euros and Francs/Marks/Pesetas etc.

Case in point, I've just uploaded a couple of German magazines from late 2001 which price PS2 games at 119,-DM, but by the time some of these were actually released in 2002, you'd expect a price in Euros.
