Founded by Hiroshi Kimura of Compile after that company went bankrupt. Mainly known for their own arcade shooting games, but did work as a subcontractor for a brief period of time at the beginning.
In early 2013, Kimura was arrested for illegal activities involving securities after using Milestone to fund a bioenergy firm, MS Bio Energy, and Mielstone subsequently shut down.
