The Miles Sound System (initially called the Audio Interface Library) is an middleware audio library for video games, originally released by Miles Design for the IBM PC. The technology was acquired by RAD Game Tools in 1995.
Several Sega games make use of the technology, having started to appear in Sega Dreamcast releases around 2000.
