==Japanese translations==
We prefer roumanji over English for Japanese translations, usually because there aren't direct translations.

So "ライラの冒険 黄金の羅針盤" should indeed translate to "Lyra no Bouken: Ougon no Rashinban", otherwise you're making an estimate. Google translate's English results are not good at this.

==Scans vs photos vs stock images==
Scans of a cover (without the plastic case, like you said) are preferred. Failing that, cropped photos from ebay or Google Images will do. Stock images should only be used as a last resort, because while they look nice, they don't really prove an item actually exists. There are instances of stock images looking nothing like the real cover, or occasionally stock images of versions that don't exist.
