"Wacko" is a decisive and
single minded fighter, who
can float like a butterfly,
and sting like a bee.
George "Stallion" Shawkey
George is a quick counter
puncher with fast hands. He
is very strong at landing
lots of punches per round.
He has to be very careful or
he burns out quickly in a
long fight. George shocked
the boxing world when he won
a silver medal at the
Olympics. He has recently
turned pro and has rapidly
moved up on the contender
rankings.
Nicole "Dominator" Kauth
The "Dominator" trains her
self, and is firmly in
control at all times.
"Lightning" Lou Janetti
"Lightning" Lou is a
speedster who uses his
superior quickness to
outscore his opponents. Lou
does lack the classic
finishing power of a great
heavyweight. Lou lives his
life as he fights, at full
speed.
Leanne "Mow em Down" Manon
This lady has a reputation
for charging through all
obstacles.
Derrick "The Legend" Lee
Derrick is a strong fighter
who will use every trick in
his arsenal to win. "The
Legend" knows every dirty
trick in the book, but he
can be cut by working on his
face. Derrick is a "win at
all costs" fighter. The
Marquis of Queensbury rules
means nothing to him. "The
Legend" will do what ever it
takes to win the Heavyweight
Title.
Brent "Rocky" Rucker
This "bad boy" is one of
the more knowledgeable
fighters around.
"Quickdraw" Tom Robinson
"Quickdraw" Robinson is the
fastest of the left handed
fighters. He will use his
speedy right hand jab to
score on any defender. Tom
does lack punching power, so
he must land a lot of
punches to win. Tom is a
country boy who has moved to
the big city to make a name
for himself. He fights with
a clean style, and hopes to
be a positive role model for
his fans.
Ste "Wigan" Ruddy
This "Pie man" will stop at
nothing to get his pie.
This upper crust fighter
hails from the land of fun,
sun and good times... Wigan.
"Dangerous" Dan Jones
Dan is a slugger who has
learned his fighting skill
on the street. What he lacks
in finesse and skill he
makes up in killer instinct
and punching power. An ex-
bouncer Dan has fought on
the bare knuckle circuit
before moving to the
professional ranks.
Andy "Coat Kicker" Rout
This "Happy Hippy" has a
mean streak especially
outside of the ring. A big
Phil Collins fan with
definitely no jacket
required. He always try's to
throw his special at least
twice.
Mike "The Anvil" Aubry
Mike is a strong athlete
with a rugged attitude. "The
Anvil" is a professional
thrill seeker who is willing
to engage in any dangerous
sport for kicks. What Mike
lacks in skill he makes up
in good conditioning and a
winning attitude. This rowdy
Malibu surf dude is a crowd
favorite because of his
flashy style.
Dave "The Rave" Mac
Dave "The Rave" will slip
into an easy fighting beat.
Jeff "Rock Jaw" Rianda
The aggressive "Rock Jaw"
Rianda is a master of the
old school of Boxing. He is
extremely tough with a
dynamite right hand. "Rock
Jaw" will wait for his
opponent to show weakness
before opening up with his
full arsenal. Jeff is the
favored son of the
Philadelphia boxing
community.
Jeff "The Sturge" Sturgeon
"Sturgybabes" draws a mean
space ship and is not to
shabby when it comes to the
art of boxing.
Joe "The Dragon" Hoffman
Joe is a skilled fighter
with awesome defensive
skills. He is reluctant to
go on the offensive because
of his Martial Arts
background. "The Dragon"
holds a Black Belt in karate
and uses this skill to
maximize the effectiveness
of his punches. Joe was
drawn into the world of
professional fighting to
pursue a career as an actor.
"Moxy" Mat Medina
This fighter came to the
sport late. He was attracted
to it by the opportunity to
hit people very hard.
Willie "The Lion" Ramos
"The Lion" is a street wise
speedster with good boxing
skills. His greatest
weakness is tiring himself
out by being too active.
"The Lion" is immensely
popular with the fans from
his hometown of LA. His
fighting heart gained him
his nickname.
"Crispy" Chris Collins
This guy can mix it with
the best around.
Yuri "Fabulous" Fadiman
A power punching machine
from the Soviet amateur
program, Yuri is well
trained and incredibly
strong. His traditional
boxing style is very
predictable allowing
opponents to out think him.
Yuri was very successful in
amateur boxing, but left his
homeland after the fall of
the Berlin wall in the hopes
of making a new life in
America.
Jimmy "Killer" Kowalski
The "Killer" can be a clown
outside the ring, but there
is nothing funny about his
boxing.
"Jammin" Johnny O'Grady
Johnny is a well-rounded
contact puncher. He will use
his good speed and overall
skill to outscore the
opposition. His varied
talents makes him a tough
opponent. An attack plan
using superior speed or
power is the best way to
defeat Johnny. Johnny is
known in the boxing world
as a strong challenge.
"Dancin" Double A
Andy A is an all rounder,
who is new to the game.
Carmen "Fist" Paradiso
"Fist" is a brawler with
good skills. He likes to
engage his opponents in
slugging matches and use his
style to turn the fight in
to a wild swinging brawl.
Carmen has poor defensive
skills and will often find
himself out boxed. Carmen
is the youngest son of a
large family. He learned to
fight on the playground and
from his older brothers.
Emma "Biveldorf" Vokurka
Emma is a classy fighter.
she is highly focused and
has a sharp left hook.
Eric "The Kid" Wilson
A young contender with Knock
Out power, "The Kid" is a
straight ahead style boxer.
Eric does not move well from
side to side. This skilled
street kid from Miami has an
incredible warrior spirit
and will not give up on any
fight.
Adrian "Ghandi" Bourne
He's a lover, not a fighter.
JJ "The Bull" Mazzo
"The Bull" is fast and
tough. He uses his speed to
corner his opponents then
will out do them in scoring.
JJ is a firm believer in the
best defense is a good
offense. JJ will often
forget all about defense.
"The Bull" lives like he
fights, charging straight
ahead for his goal without
deviation.
Michele "Baby D" Ahearn
Michele is new to the game,
but has adapted very well.
"Savage" Sammy Swift
Sammy combines a potent mix
of speed, power and defense.
He has an excellent
finishing sense. "Swift" can
usually tell when he has his
opponent in trouble. Sammy
is very new to professional
boxing and sometimes spends
more time as a celebrity
than training for the next
fight.
"Devious" Evan Dean
He's the Leprechaun.
Rob "The Killer" Jones
"The Killer" Jones as he is
called by his fans, is a
potent, hard charging
slugger with KO power.
Rob has not been boxing very
long and his skill level is
not very high. Rob learned
how to box in the United
States Marine Corps and
dominated his unit team. Rob
has a "Gung Ho" attitude he
developed while in the
Marines.
Mike "Hard Man" Hong
Mike Hong has put many
highly rated opponents to
the test.
Ahmad "Axeman" Williams
Ahmad is a solid tank of
an opponent. He will use
excellent defense and
superior conditioning to
outlast his opposition.
Ahmad needs to work on his
basic boxing skills. He can
be defeated by skilled
boxers who use superior
technique. "Axeman" received
his nickname from his
excessive use of overhand
rights.
Toni "And" Emma
Two nice nieces.

On the title screen, press Up Down Left Right 1 Up Down Left Right 2. This will make the following changes:

  • The "FOR REAL" stamp on the title screen will change to "CHEAT".
  • The boxers have different names and stats, presumably after the game's developers.
  • Pressing 1 on the bracket screen of Tournament Mode will unlock the next tier of matches.

The screen displayed after enabling Cheat mode claims that Exhibition cheats are also available, but they don't seem to work.
