can you tell I'm keen to start with NEC Retro

I'd like to put this template on all Sega Retro pages that are likely to have an NEC counterpart, though obviously the links don't go anywhere at the moment and I hope to exchange the NEC logo for an "NEC Retro" one when one exists. It's similar to how Wikipedia has a box for coverage of a topic across its sister projects (here's an example - "definitions from wiktionary, media from commons, news stories from wikinews" etc.)

is this fine or do we want a prettier/less intrusive/other solution -Black Squirrel (talk) 13:50, 9 January 2015 (CST)

NEC Retro has more information related to NECRetro

And the Sega Retro counterpart: nec:Template:SegaRetro. Not entirely sure how to remove the external link icon, but it'll do for now.

Let me know if it sucks -Black Squirrel (talk) 14:45, 18 January 2022 (EST)

How about adding in parameters to allow multiple links in one use of the template? As it stands right now, we have some pages using multiple instances of the template that link to multiple versions of a game on both Sega and NEC Retro. One example of this would be Street Fighter II on NEC Retro, which is linking to the multiple versions on here in three separate instances of the template, and it just looks cluttered.
Adding multiple link parameters could help reduce that clutter. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 15:04, 2 July 2024 (EDT)
