Mega Drive version
Totally Forked
"Totally Forked" or "Secret Room Number 37" can be accessed by reaching a specific area in Level Ate. Jim has to reach a gap on the right hand side of a pile of ham, to the left of three forks, and below a bacon platform. The best way to get there is to parachute from the right hand side (almost certainly taking damage along the way). Run to the left and the new level will load.
As the name suggests, Totally Forked involves more forks, which now move up and down. Once the level is completed, Jim will return to Level Ate on the bacon platform above the Totally Forked entrance.
Manta Shield
Hold ++ while on the ground. Jim will hold his arms out in front to shield himself from enemy attacks for three seconds or until the buttons are released.
Super Cheat Screen
Pause the game and press . Much like its predecessor, this screen displays system information and the game's build date. The options are:
- Invincibility: Enables invincibility.
- Start on Level: Press and to select a level, and START to play the selected level.
- Sound Test: Press and to select a number, and to play its corresponding music/sound effect.
- Map View Mode: Use the D-Pad to move the camera around the level, and press to move Jim to the camera's location.

The area is harder to reach in the Saturn version, but unlike the Mega Drive, the level has a background.

Interlaced mode
Pause the game and press the following depending on the version:
