Prince and the N.P.G.: Diamonds and Pearls is an unreleased Sega Mega-CD video editing program in the Virtual VCR series developed by Digital Pictures and scheduled to be published by Sega around January 1993.[1] As the name suggests, it was meant to feature music videos of songs from the album Diamonds and Pearls by the now late musician Prince and his backing band The New Power Generation. While demonstrated at Winter CES 1993, as well as being included in an official product reel played at the show, it was ultimately cancelled (presumably due to legal disputes between Prince and Warner Music).
