It includes the Arcade versions of Zero Wing and Hellfire. The physical version of the compilation also includes several console versions of the first two games as a bonus plus the Arcade game Horror Story (known as Demon's World outside Japan), although the digital versions only offers them as a paid DLC bundle. It was originally released in 2023, only in Japan.

    Zero Fire: Toaplan Arcade Garage marks the first time M2 included games previously published by NEC Avenue on PC Engine and CD-ROM² systems after buying them from Lightweight, the owner of Interchannel IPs, in July 2023[3]. As a result, M2 owns the publishing rights of Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier for the PC Engine, as seen in certain GameCenter CX episodes[4].
