Digital Monster Ver. S Digimon Tamers (デジタルモンスターVer.S デジモンテイマーズ) is a Sega Saturn simulation game based on the Digimon franchise. This was actually the first Digimon video game and plays more like an expanded version of the LCD handheld toys.
In it, you raise a digimon from birth, utilizing many features from the handheld toys such as feeding, praising/scolding, turning the lights on or off during sleep, and specific training for particular stats.
Although the game has no online capability itself, the game and its respective interface simulates a PC in which you can access the Digimon Network. Among the pages included are a News page and an internet forum which features new posts (some including hints or URLs).
