There are VMU mini games that can be downloaded to several platforms. In some cases, I'm not sure if they deserve their own wikia page. For example, there are two VMU mini games for SoulCalibur, both are Japan only from what I can see, but one of them could only be downloaded online, so it may or may not fit in the SoulCalibur page on Retro.

This suggestion isn't for normal game "progress" saves. More like special online downloads that were no longer obtainable online through normal means through Sega's or Sega's partner's online services. For example the menu theme VMU downloads would be great to have on the Sonic Retro wiki. There are websites that provide back up of several of these kinds of files. Should we try to partner with them?

Would it be possible to add in a way to switch between title screen pictures on the wiki pages? For games like The Story of Thor 2 the game has different names across all regions. Pages like this one show the Sonic Retro wiki supports the idea: http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_Adventure_(2010) I tried to add in the code to the bobscreen template to Sega Retro, but it didn't work, so I removed the code I copied. Could this be implemented in the future? Would it be a good addition to the wiki?

:This could be nice, but definitely problematic if we're to house all the different title screens for Golden Axe or Space Harrier or OutRun in the same template (Sonic Retro doesn't have to deal with games with a bazillion ports). It may be a tad excessive in some circumstances - am I against it? no, but given how many of these pages are stubs, I suspect there are bigger priorities. -Black Squirrel (talk) 06:43, 6 December 2013 (CST)

VMU Mini Games

There are VMU mini games that can be downloaded to several platforms. In some cases, I'm not sure if they deserve their own wikia page. For example, there are two VMU mini games for SoulCalibur, both are Japan only from what I can see, but one of them could only be downloaded online, so it may or may not fit in the SoulCalibur page on Retro.

VMU Save Hosting

This suggestion isn't for normal game "progress" saves. More like special online downloads that were no longer obtainable online through normal means through Sega's or Sega's partner's online services. For example the menu theme VMU downloads would be great to have on the Sonic Retro wiki. There are websites that provide back up of several of these kinds of files. Should we try to partner with them?

Title Screen Alternation

Would it be possible to add in a way to switch between title screen pictures on the wiki pages? For games like The Story of Thor 2 the game has different names across all regions. Pages like this one show the Sonic Retro wiki supports the idea: http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_Adventure_(2010) I tried to add in the code to the bobscreen template to Sega Retro, but it didn't work, so I removed the code I copied. Could this be implemented in the future? Would it be a good addition to the wiki?

This could be nice, but definitely problematic if we're to house all the different title screens for Golden Axe or Space Harrier or OutRun in the same template (Sonic Retro doesn't have to deal with games with a bazillion ports). It may be a tad excessive in some circumstances - am I against it? no, but given how many of these pages are stubs, I suspect there are bigger priorities. -Black Squirrel (talk) 06:43, 6 December 2013 (CST)
