Genre: Survival horror/first-person shooter

Condemned 2, known as Condemned 2: Bloodshot in the US, is a survival horror/first-person shooter game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Sega for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It is a sequel to the 2005 game Condemned for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The game was banned in Germany due to its violent content.

Gameplay

Condemned 2 is played in a first-person perspective, with a mixture of melee combat and shooting. There is more varied melee combat than in the previous Condemned game, with a larger selection of pipes, tools and makeshift weapons, as well as the option to use bare fists. Ammo for guns is very limited, so there is more often than not a need to beat enemies to death. Additionally, the player's character is an alcoholic, and needs to drink booze at regular intervals otherwise his aim becomes less accurate.

The game includes a multiplayer option, featuring deathmatches or cooperative minigames.
