Frogger II: Threeedeep!, also known as Frogger II: Three Deep, is a sequel to the arcade game, Frogger, and was released by multiple home computers and consoles in 1984. Unlike its predecessor, Frogger II had no arcade release, nor did it have any involvement from the original game's creator, Konami, instead being an entirely original product developed by Parker Brothers under license by Sega, who owned the rights to Frogger outside of Japan. It is unrelated to the later release of Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge or the 2008 Xbox Live Arcade game, Frogger 2.
Frogger II: ThreeDeep! has much the same gameplay as its predecessors, however rather than cross the same street and river on a loop, the game is split into thirds - one screen in which you avoid sea creatures, another which has you hop across a lake, and a final screen which takes place in the sky.
Frogger II was not as widely distributed as its predecessor, however did appear on most cartridge-based systems of the day, including the Apple II, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit computers, ColecoVision, Commodore 64 and IBM PC.
