Battle Mania Daiginjou (バトルマニア大吟醸), sometimes referred to as Battle Mania Daiginjo and Battle Mania 2, is a shoot-'em-up developed and published by VIC Tokai in 1993 for the Sega Mega Drive exclusively in Japan and South Korea. It is the sequel to Battle Mania (which did see release in the US as Trouble Shooter).
A group calling itself the Kikokukyou have resurrected the leader of Blackball, the antagonist group of the original game, and the Trouble Shooters are called to stop Blackball and destroy Kikokukyou. Gameplay is identical to the original game: shoots (with rapidfire), holding charges a special weapon which is activated with when fully charged, and has Maria change the direction she shoots in. Unlike the first game, however, you do not have a choice as to which special weapon you get. Furthermore, the game begins with Mania only; Maria must be rescued at the end of the first level. Finally, the game also offers a SCORE ATTACK mode which offers the player challenges to complete.
