:You're probably right because Expert Software released two games - [http://web.archive.org/web/19991013031029/expertsoftware.com/worldwide_soccer.htm SEGA Worldwide Soccer] and [http://web.archive.org/web/19991013042258/expertsoftware.com/worldwide_soccer_champ.htm SEGA Worldwide Soccer Championship] - both without the "PC" at the end (we can probably dig more info through the wayback machine). That and the '97 game seem to have been published by other companies? --[[User:AllisonKidd|AllisonKidd]] ([[User talk:AllisonKidd|talk]]) 13:09, 5 December 2015 (CST) | :You're probably right because Expert Software released two games - [http://web.archive.org/web/19991013031029/expertsoftware.com/worldwide_soccer.htm SEGA Worldwide Soccer] and [http://web.archive.org/web/19991013042258/expertsoftware.com/worldwide_soccer_champ.htm SEGA Worldwide Soccer Championship] - both without the "PC" at the end (we can probably dig more info through the wayback machine). PC Version
I've got a nasty suspicion that "Worldwide Soccer PC" is different to "Worldwide Soccer for the PC"
i.e. the US PC listing here should be here. It may solve the mystery of Worldwide Soccer Championship too.

Split mistake
Now that we have decent scans and have bothered to do some basic research, I'm thinking Sega Worldwide Soccer 98: Club Edition is in fact the same game as this one. Non-Euro versions downplayed the existence of European club teams, and the name change was purely cosmetic (and unnecessary!).
