This template needs improvement. Most lines each have only one item on them. It's mostly whitespace and is two screens high on my monitor. Is there a good reason to have all the overseas stuff on one template, instead of a separate template for each region/continent? - Hivebrain (talk) 17:51, 15 April 2017 (CDT)

  • The lines usually only have on item, because unlike on the Japanese template there is no connection between things...Woudn't it help to at least have a fleshed out Template:EarlySega so that at least there is no whitespace going from 1945-1984 on the other templates? My reference for templates regarding just overseas and domestic, is how Sega divides them too. I made a conscious decision to split by region to avoid huge templates like this, and reuse lines to make effective use of space.
None of this was ideal because I woefully underestimated the amount of subsidiaries, but rarely is the solution to combine things -Black Squirrel (talk) 05:18, 16 April 2017 (CDT)
