Triton (formerly Xega) is a Mega Drive, Mega CD and Mega 32X emulator for Microsoft Windows running under DirectX 8.0 by Michel Gerritse. There once were versions for both Windows 2000/XP and 9x, but after 0.07, only the Windows 9x version got continued. In 2006, development of Xega was stopped, and a new emulator project, aiming to emulate several different Sega systems in one program, was started: Triton. After a long break of updates, questioning if the project still was going on, Michel made a new entry in the developer blog stating that he's not dead yet and showing a new screenshot.
