Nippon Ichi Software (株式会社日本一ソフトウェア) was formally known as Prism Kikaku before changing their name on July 12th, 1993. In 2003 they opened up an American branch known as NIS America. In April of 2016 they acquired FOG, who then became a subsidiary of theirs.
