History

To test the development framework Microsoft XNA, Guard Crush Games started to develop their first game Streets of Fury. They submitted it to the 2008 Dream Build Play Challenge and then released it on Xbox Live Indie Game in 2009. After a successful Steam Greenlight campaign, they released the second installment in the series, Streets of Fury: Extended edition, in 2015.

A chain of events led them to participate in the development of Streets of Rage 4, released in 2020.
