Avoid all obstacles in stage 1
In the Japanese version, by moving the bike over the black and white striped areas on either side of the road, the player is able to avoid all obstacles in the first stage just by holding the accelerate button. This includes avoiding the computer-controlled bikes, as they will never stray into these areas.
It is assumed this is an oversight rather than an intended feature. It is impossible to perform similar this trick in other stages as tracks are not perfectly straight.
Fixed in Western releases, as the stage does not exist.
