Climax Entertainment (クライマックス) was a Japanese multimedia development studio and publishing house, based in Tokyo. It was founded in in April 1990 and primarily developed games for the Mega Drive, also working on the two first Shining Force titles. During the 32-bit era, some members of the team left to create Matrix Software. In addition to videogames, the company also created television and radio programs.

Sometime within the 2014-2015 period, Climax Entertainment quietly shut down. No official announcement was given, but anonymous posts on a Japanese career-discussion forum cited financial issues.
