Having a special file from Puyo Pop Fever saved onto a Visual Memory Unit will enable access to a hidden 3D interface in the Boot ROM's menu. Once enabled, press  START  anywhere on the menu to toggle betwen the normal interface and the alternate interface, so long as the VMU containing the file is inserted in a controller. The perspective for the alternate interface can also be moved around with the Analog Stick[1].
