Mega Drive version

Sega logo ™ symbol

While not released in Japan, code exists to remove the ™ symbol from the introductory Sega logo if the game detects it is being played on a Japanese system.

Cheat mode

On the title screen, press A B C A B C B C B A. This will add level select and "mode" options to the options screen, and will allow you to skip stages by pressing A+B+C in-game.

99 lives

SolDeace MD My99.png

With cheat mode enabled, highlight "mode" and keep pressing Right until "MY99" shows up. This will give you 99 lives.

Muteki

SolDeace MD Muteki.png

With the 99 lives cheat enabled, highlight "mode" and hold A. Then keep pressing Right until "MUTEKI" shows up. This wll make you invincible.
