Chessmaster 2100 is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive game set to be published by Mindscape. It appeared at Winter CES 1992, and was still being mentioned as late as Spring 1993[1] but was cancelled for unknown reasons.
It is expected that this game derives from the 1988 computer game The Fidelity Chessmaster 2100 (published by The Software Toolworks, which later acquired the Mindscape brand). Other than being part of the same series, it is not known if the project was related to The Chessmaster for the Sega Game Gear, released in late 1991.
