System Shock 2 is a first person shooter developed by Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios and published by Electronic Arts in 2000. It is the sequel to the 1994 PC game, System Shock.
A Sega Dreamcast port, set to be published by Vatical Entertainment (under their otherwise unused "Alter Ego Studios" label) and developed by Marina Games was announced in May 2000[1], but was cancelled at some point in 2001 for unknown reasons. An early prototype of the game has since been found.
