Bible Adventures for the Sega Mega Drive is an unlicensed side-scrolling action game developed by Wisdom Tree. It was released in North America in 1995.

Gameplay

The game is a collection of three games based on stories from the Old Testament:

• Noah's Ark, which has the player control Noah picking up animals and placing them within an ark.
• Baby Moses, which has the player escort the Baby Moses safely out of Egypt.
• David and Goliath, which has the player control David on a quest to beat Goliath.

All three games are side-scrolling platformers with very similar gameplay. Characters move with or . They run by holding while moving. They jump with or and jump down from platforms with + or +. They can climb ladders and trees with and (and can climb while carrying things).

Similar to Super Mario Bros. 2, gameplay is centered around picking up and carrying things. Characters pick things up with , throw them with again, or set them down with +. They can carry multiple things but set them down one at a time (with the lowest item in the stack being the first thing set down). The player can cycle the order of carried items with HOLD . As many as four items can be carried at a time.

Characters have health depicted as stone tablets in the corner of the screen. If the character is carrying something when hurt, he or she drops the lowest item in the stack. They can gain health by picking up stone tablets found in the levels. They die if they lose all of their stone tablets or fall into water. The player can continue from the beginning of the current level as many times as desired.

Items

	Stone Tablet
	Adds another unit of health. Displays an excerpt from the Bible (usually from the Book of Psalms or Proverbs) or sometimes a gameplay hint when collected. A maximum of five tablets are shown at a time, though it is possible to have more.

Games

The game is selected from the title screen upon starting the game.

	Noah's Ark
	Based on the flood narrative in the Book of Genesis. Seeing that the world had become corrupt and violent, God decides to flood the earth and destroy his creation. He provides Noah instructions to build an ark and to gather onto the ark a male and a female of every living thing. Noah must round up a male and a female of each animal and carry them into the ark. The entrance to the ark is marked by a flashing arrow. Noah enters the ark and cavern entrances with . The player is shown an inventory of collected animals after dropping one off at the ark or by pausing the game with  START . There are four levels with different sets of animals to collect. Some animals (such as pigs, horses, and pandas) can distracted by placing food items in front of them in order to pick them up, or they can be knocked out temporarily by throwing something at them. Food items include fruits, bird seed, and bales of hay. The snakes on the trees are enemies and cannot be collected; the snakes that Moses can collect are found by the caverns.
	Baby Moses
	Based on the story of Moses as an infant at the beginning of the Book of Exodus. The Pharoah of Egypt, fearing that the enslaved and now numerous Israelites could become a fifth column, has ordered the killing of all newborn boys by drowning them in the river Nile. Miriam, Moses' sister, must try to save her brother by carrying him from one end of the level to the other. There are six levels. Moses can be thrown without harming him. Enemies can be picked up but cannot be harmed in any way. Enemies include Egyptian soldiers, spiders, and cranes. The Egyptians try to pick up Moses if he is unattended and throw him into the Nile. If this happens, the level can no longer be completed and can only be restarted by dying. The cranes can pick up Miriam and carry her a distance.
	David and Goliath
	Based on the story of David and Goliath in the Book of Samuel. David is a young shepherd who is destined to become the King of Israel. He gains fame by slaying the giant Goliath. In the first part of the game, David must herd sheep and avoid predators such as lions and bears. There are four levels with four sheep in each. The rams charge at David and do not need to be collected. The sheep can be picked up one at a time and brought to an area at the end of the level (marked by a flashing arrow). Acorns can be picked up and thrown at the beasts to stun them. For the fifth level, David obtains a sling and goes on to dodge Philistine guards, scorpions, and stones before he fights Goliath's shield bearer and ultimately Goliath himself. David throws stones with . He must strike Goliath once in the head to defeat him.

Music and sound

The game uses an arrangement of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach for its title screen music.
