Arc System Works (アークシステムワークス), called just Arc until 1991, is a Japanese game developer. They primarily developed games for other companies before hitting it big on their own in the latter part of the 90s, and are now most known for the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series of fighting games.
Many of their newer games are released in partnership with Sega of Japan.
