| − | Hello! If you're researching the NEC-branded version of the LaserActive, please be aware: the hardware known as the '''PDE-LD1''' is actually the '''PCE-LD1'''. It appears the confusion stemmed from the relevant page at the esteemed [http://www.laserdiscarchive.co.uk/laserdisc_archive/nec/nec_pce-ld1/nec_pce-ld1.htm LaserDisc Archive], where the author mistyped "PCE" as "PDE". Some parts of the page were later corrected, but other parts still display "PDE". This information appears to have been copied wholesale around the internet, with many (including myself at one point) making the mistake. Hope this helps :)
