The StrikerDC is a third-party Sega Dreamcast controller created by Retro Fighters. The project was funded through Kickstarter in 2019, with controllers shipping in April 2020.
The StrikerDC is designed to be a "modern" Dreamcast controller, taking design cues from newer video game consoles for a more ergonomic design. In addition to improving the responsiveness of the analog stick and D-Pad, the controller adds digital and buttons in addition to the analog ones - something that can benefit fighting games where the analog travel is not needed. The cable also comes out of the top, rather than the bottom.
The StrikerDC is compatible with all first-party accessories. While the first shipments were only in the classic Dreamcast white color scheme, colored versions were released in October 2020.
