Clean pause

During gameplay, press + to hide the "paused" text. Pressing the buttons again brings it back. This code does not work in the Japanese version of the game.

Note that in this game, pressing on its own shows a menu. This cannot be hidden with the clean pause code (so HOLD is a more reliable way to perform a clean pause).

"Another World"

On the title screeen press . A sound should play if entered correctly, and one of Bubble Bobble's Drunk enemies will appear in the bottom right.

With this code enabled, a new set of puzzles will replace the standard set. This was a feature in Bust-A-Move 2: Arcade Edition and Bust-A-Move 3, though here the mode is not explicitly named.

Unlock all characters

On the title screeen press . A sound should play if entered correctly.

Tarot reading

On the title screeen press . A sound should play if entered correctly, and "Tarot Reading(Love)" will be added the options menu.

As the name suggests, the mode simulates tarot.

Talk Demo

After inputting both the "unlock all characters" and "tarot reading" codes above, press on the title screen.

This will add a second option to the options screen, "Talk Demo", in which you can view the converations between characters.
