Abuse is a 2D action game originally developed by Crack dot Com for the IBM PC. Ports to the Sega Saturn and PlayStation were planned (to be published by VIC Tokai) but despite appearing at E3 1996[1], these versions were cancelled.

It has been suggested that Sony were not keen on the product due to its 2D nature, which may have prompted its cancellation.
