Black Box Games was a Canadian video game developer.

Company

Black Box Games was asked by Sega to produce a sequel to NHL 2K, but rejected the offer in favour of NHL Hitz 2002 for Midway Games (which began as a PlayStation 2 exclusive, before appearing on the Nintendo GameCube and Xbox[1].

In 2009, the company merged into Canadian video game publisher EA Canada.
