Takafumi Kaya (栢 孝文) is a Japanese video game developer. He started his career at Sega in 1999, designing Sonic Team's ChuChu Rocket!. He left Sega in 2001 to become a director at Sony Computer Entertainment, before founding the company SignalTalk in 2002, which is best-known for the smartphone app Online Mahjong Maru-Jan[1]. In 2018 he also founded the AI-based healthcare company .tech, which was merged with SignalTalk 2 years later[2].
