The Japanese version omits the ™ symbol from the Sega logo. It also uses a lighter shade of blue than its Western counterparts.

Like its Mega Drive counterpart, Zool was published by different companies in different regions, so a different logo is kicked in the introduction. In Europe, it is the Gremlin Graphics logo, North America gets Gametek, and Japan has Nissho Iwai Infocom.
