20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, formerly known as FoxVideo, was the American home video distribution arm of 20th Century Fox, and the home to Fox's dedicated game publishing division, Fox Interactive.

Company

FoxVideo was established in 1991 when Fox took greater control over its joint venture with CBS/Fox Video, which handled the distribution of 20th Century Fox's products. The reorganization allowed FoxVideo to exclusively distribute Fox's home video products while CBS continued to release its own titles under the CBS Video name.

In March 1995, the company was renamed 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, which also saw the creation of additional distribution operations, including Fox Kids Video, CBS Video, and the development of two new media units, Fox Interactive and Magnet Interactive Studios. This reorganization aimed to streamline operations and expand the company's reach in the home entertainment market. Under this new name, it soon became a significant player in the industry, with notable successes such as the release of the Star Wars trilogy and Independence Day on home video.

In January 2020, the company was rebranded as 20th Century Studios Home Entertainment following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company.
