Pac-Attack, sometimes known as Pac-Panic (パックアタック) is a puzzle game developed and published by Namco in 1993. It is an adaptation of Cosmo Gang the Puzzle - an arcade game released by Namco in 1992.
Pac-Attack is a spin-off from the Pac Man series. It is similar to Tetris, however as well as clearing lines of blocks there are also ghosts that cannot be cleared in the traditional sense and Pac-Man pieces which will eat the ghosts, assuming Pac-Man is placed nearby.
Initially released for the Sega Mega Drive and Super Nintendo, ports of Pac-Attack were made for the Game Boy, Sega Game Gear and Philips CD-i. The Super Nintendo version has since been re-released on the Wii's Virtual Console service.
