Xin Qi Gai Wang Zi (新乞丐王子) is an unlicesned role-playing adventure game by C&E Inc. originally released in 1996 for the Mega Drive and later released in 1998 on PCs. Super Fighter Team either acquired a translation license or the full copyright to the Mega Drive version and translated it in 2006, releasing it under the title Beggar Prince, released in three print runs totaling 2,400 copies.
While two ROMs of Xin Qi Gai Wang Zi circulate, to great misfortune, no ROMs of Beggar Prince circulate, and Super Fighter Team sadly spends as much time as possible keeping it that way (and discouraging people from doing fan translations). Meanwhile, they have gone on to release other licensed translations.
Because the game stores SRAM in the $8xxxxx memory area, it cannot be played with a Sega 32X (which clobbers that area).
