SpongeBob (スポンジ・ボブ) is a game based on the TV show SpongeBob SquarePants. THQ Japan published the game in Japan - overseas versions were handled by THQ and titled SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab. The GameCube, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS versions were not released in Japan.

It is not to be confused with SpongeBob SquarePants and Friends, which, while released on the same day and using very similar boxart, is actually the Japanese version of Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island.
