Rock'n Bark (ロックンバーク), sometimes erroneously labeled as "Rock'n Park", is a 1976 discrete logic game by Sega with twin Tommy Guns. It is similar to Sega's earlier 1975 game Bullet Mark—complete with the "Bullet Mark" branding on the cabinet, suggesting it may have earlier been a cabinet variant or sequel. Gameplay involves shooting colorful targets on the 26-inch monitor to match the rhythm of the rock music. Game modes include shooting black parts in check patterns and shooting red and blue "dragons" in one- or two-player modes. Time is extended when the player(s) achieve 6000 or 8000 points, depending on the machine's configuration.
The game is one of, if not the first, rhythm-based video games and possibly the first rhythm-related arcade game; this title is in contention with an unknown Kasco/Kansei Seiki Seisakusho rhythm game. [2]
