Extended Play was an American video game developer established to finish production of the Sega Mega Drive game Chakan after its developer, Recreational Brainware, went out of business.[2][1]
Company
While the Sega Mega Drive action platform game Chakan was being developed at Recreational Brainware, the company was folded in mid 1991; former staff Jon Miller and David Foley would soon establish Extended Play to finish the game's production.[2] Once Chakan was released in December 1992, the company was dissolved, and the team went their separate ways.[1]
Miller, along with staff Steven Ross, and Mira Ross, later founded HeadGames, and Foley later began producing games through his own company, Foley Hi-Tech.[2][1]
