Sega.com Asia was online subsidiary of Sega Japan,[1] that dealt with the distribution of Sega Dreamcast and the supply of SegaNet and HEAT.NET to the Asian Pacific market. The founding of the company was announced on April 26, 2000, when Sega made a deal with Cheong Ming and chose him as a distributor.[2]Cheong Ming finally changed its name in June 2000 and reverted to its name in May 2001.[3]
