Omnis and sub-pages
Hiyo. When creating new sub-pages, make sure you check that a game has an Omni associated with it, and add it to the sub-pages you create. If one doesn't already exist, add a link to an omni anyway so it can be created later. This will help save others (i.e. me) some time having to add them in.
Also, don't forget to add corresponding links to the omnis. A full list of parameters can be found here. Cheers! --SorachiJirachi (talk) 16:02, 6 November 2022 (EST)
- Hiyo again. Various Mega Drive bootleg pages you've created over the last two months are missing omnis for some reason. Please don't forget to include those for future pages. Cheers. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 15:03, 29 August 2023 (EDT)
fake boxes
I'm going to suggest not making any more of these fake boxes (i.e. current scans/photos with stickers photoshopped on top). I'd rather have photos/scans of the real thing, so we're not making naive assumptions about what the boxes look like.
My suspicion, for example, is that Greek Zegetron stickers all have unique numbers.
Also it saves you time from making them. -Black Squirrel (talk) 17:36, 22 April 2023 (EDT)
- With these boxes from Zegetron you are right. As for the rest, some of them I've seen on auction/been here before but the picture looked bad in terms of quality so I figured it will be better to make my own version like this or this. You can delete these photos if you think you will ever find the real ones (which will probably differ in the quality of the sticker glued 5 cm more to the left etc.), but next time write a little faster because the only thing I managed to achieve today is wasting a lot of time.-Geti3220 (talk) 17:57, 22 April 2023 (EDT)
Remaining Dreamcast bootleg scans
You might know more than I do:
There are still loads of files in these categories that need using and recategorising, but many don't have distributor logos, and so may have been mislabled. I also suspect some (in the first category at least) might be fake. We also likely have some duplicates.
could you have a check at some point? Mark any crap ones with {{delete}} -Black Squirrel (talk) 07:40, 10 June 2023 (EDT)
- I will check it but tomorrow. -Geti3220 (talk) 10:30, 10 June 2023 (EDT)
- If you haven't gotten bored with this topic and you still want to do some digging, I know that on the RGR, Vector and Kudos sites there are Excel files with pricelist of all available Dreamcast games and movies. It would be a good source of knowledge in case of missing some versions that are not scanned on the web or less popular.-Geti3220 (talk) 10:38, 10 June 2023 (EDT)
- Those would be very useful - do you know exactly where they live? -Black Squirrel (talk) 11:03, 10 June 2023 (EDT)

Adding references
When adding references, please use Template:Ref instead of <ref>. It's a more advanced version of the <ref> tag that can do more with links. Other notes:
- For references linking to other sites, please find an archived version of the site on Wayback Machine or archive.today, and if none exist there, create an archived version and link to it.
- For magazine references, use Template:Magref.

Saturn 1997 Console Box (Gulf Regions)
Hey there Geti3220. Hope you've been well!
I came across the Saturn console box you posted in the following page https://segaretro.org/Saturn_consoles_in_Asia and was curious to ask a few things about it if I may.
1. Do you happen to be able to take a photo of the box's back? I'm curious if there's any additional text or info on there, as well as other sides possibly.
2. The box mentions 5 free games, I assume the 5 free games are not there for easy identification right?
3. The box also mentions the console being 110v, which is odd considering this is a PAL box so it would be 240v. Any clues if the console inside was a PAL modified console or just North American?
Thanks in advance!
1. I don't have more, sorry.
2. Like every Alesayi United bundle, they don't mention it on the box, so I think it might be random, but I don't have any proves. As you can see, in other countries of Asia it was the same thing.
3. The console was in PAL format. This information might be for Saudi Arabia users, just like the Master System II and the box is the same for all countries, but I only thinking out loud.

My apologies
Hi! I'm sorry for messing some pages. But some games really didn't used GEMS. Duc Nguyen (Duc4Wikimedia) really added information that he sucked from the finger. I checked some games using vgmid tool from GitHub, while config files misses some drivers: https://github.com/turboboy215/vgmid
Also i doubt that Richard Joseph used Hennig's sound driver. It can use sound driver from James Pond 3.
Maybe you can understand and forgive this.
Cheers,
Igor

- I don't know anything about sound drivers ... but sounds legit...--Asagoth (talk) 10:02, 26 October 2024 (EDT)
