This suggestion isn't for normal game "progress" saves. More like special online downloads that were no longer obtainable online through normal means through Sega's or Sega's partner's online services. For example the menu theme VMU downloads would be great to have on the Sonic Retro wiki. There are websites that provide back up of several of these kinds of files. VMU Mini Games
There are VMU mini games that can be downloaded to several platforms. In some cases, I'm not sure if they deserve their own wikia page. For example, there are two VMU mini games for SoulCalibur, both are Japan only from what I can see, but one of them could only be downloaded online, so it may or may not fit in the SoulCalibur page on Retro.
