Spiral Knights is a MMORPG developed by Three Rings Design and published by Sega for any Java-capable system, including PC and Mac. The game is free to download and play, and can be run via any browser that has Java installed (though the game opens in its own window).
At 6th April 2016 the game was transferred from Sega to Grey Havens, the latter being made up of former Three Rings Design employees who intent to finish content updates that were in development and keep the servers alive. Due to this users can't recieve any new items that were related to Sega products. For example, player will not recieve Metal Sonic Torso and Metal Sonic Head if he purchases Sonic CD on Steam and then launches Spiral Knights, but the ones who already had these items are still keeping them.
