Xplosiv is a label created by Empire Interactive Entertainment, given to various re-released PC (and PS2) games in the United Kingdom, many of which were developed by Sega. It first appeared in 2000, and has since re-released products by Sega, Ubisoft, Taito, Activision, Microsoft, Vivendi, CDV, Atlus, Psikyo and Success, as well as Empire Interactive themselves. In 2005 plans were put in place to start distributing games in North America, but were canned due to financial troubles.
Since May 4, 2009, there have been no new Xplosiv products as Empire Interactive went into administration.
