Destruction Derby (デストラクション・ダービー) is a racing game developed for the Sega Saturn by Reflections Interactive and published by Psygnosis in 1996. It was the first in the series, and went under a working title of Demolish 'Em Derby, being based on the real-life demolition derby sport. The Saturn version of the game was not released in North America.
The game is notable for being one of the first to allow cars to receive damage when hit, affecting the handling and performance of the vehicle. There are two modes, racing and battle, each with a running commentary.
Destruction Derby was followed by Destruction Derby 2 for the Sony PlayStation and Windows PCs. Plans for a Saturn version were put in place but were ultimately scrapped.
