Random select

Highlight Rain (or Noob Saibot if you're the second player) and press Up+ START . This will make the game pick a character for you at random.

These three cheat codes from Mortal Kombat 3 continue to work in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, except this time all three menus are unlocked at once.

Enter one of these on the main menu:

  • C Right A Left A Up C Right A Left A Up
  • A C Up B Up B A Down
  • B A Down Left A Down C Right Up Down.

Play as Human Smoke

Select Smoke and hold back, HP, HK, run and block (Left+X+Y+Z+B by default) when the match starts. If entered correctly Smoke will explode into Human Smoke.

8 lives in hidden game

During the introduction of the hidden game, press and hold A+C+X+Z. If entered correctly, you will hear a firing sound. There is no equivalent code for three-button controllers.
