− | ==REQUEST: Brochure scan==
| |
− | Would any collectors have a copy of the [[HeartBeat Personal Trainer]]'s brochure? We're lacking proper scans of pretty much everything HeartBeat related, but if there was one item that would help the most, it would be the included brochure. If anyone would be able to contribute, we'd all be extremely appreciative!!

− | ==''It's Serious Fun''?==
| |
− | I don't doubt this was a game in development through HeartBeat (see if I can find it on any Western Technologies resumes/LinkedIns/etc), BUT. It also super super sounds like a marketing term. Verify that this is the actual name of an unreleased HeartBeat game and not something seen on a box/marketing/ad etc ;)

− | ==Prototype Personal Trainer?==
| |
− | I'm sure it's hosted somewhere here, but for the moment, [https://www.unseen64.net/2019/05/30/outworld-2375ad-genesis-cancelled/ Link]. I've never seen this button coloration before... is this an early/prototype/variant Personal Trainer/shell design? (EDIT: Appears it's an early shell used in the brochure/sent to magazines. − | *Might not be suuuperrr notable, but- they used that kinda heavily-textured 'grippy' plastic in the system's shell... the texture used on certain handles and grips in fitness equipment. Which is a neat vibe design-wise, but a huge majority of these consoles nowadays look filthy because of it. That stuff picks up so much dust; in a gym or whatever, you want that extra grip, and its gonna be wiped down anyway. But man, theres so much dust and crud on all of these. Again not terribly notable, but this can be worked into the article with like a "the shell was manufactured to mimic the texture commonly used on fitness machine handles to further reinforce the fitness-oriented capabilities of the system; however, the rough texture is designed to provide a strong grip, and therefore ends up accumulating a significant amount of dust on the outer shell of the system" or something. | + | *Mention the prototype Personal Trainer/system shell used in promotional material, and get a picture of two up. I'm sure we've got them hosted, but for now, links are [https://www.unseen64.net/2019/05/30/outworld-2375ad-genesis-cancelled/ here] and [https://web.archive.org/web/20211004054158/https://imgur.com/a/SXTz3 here]. |
− | *What are the cables in File:OJHPT 4.jpg used for? Are those the fitness sensors themselves? While you're looking into it, clarify the exact setup method, where you'd mount the controllers on the bikes and the sensors on your body etc, intended purposes etc.
| |
− | *Figure out exactly when ''Outback Joey''+Personal Trainer was released. Someone had to have at least documented a month.
