Plaion (known as Koch Media until August 2022) is the official distributor of Sega products in Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.[1][2][3]. It took on this role on 1st July 2012[4] after Sega Europe closed its regional offices; Sega France, Sega Germany, Sega Spain, Sega Australia and Sega Benelux.
In 2002 the company started publishing video games as the Deep Silver.
