Player codes
NFL Blitz 2000 has many secret players which can be used in the "create player" menu. Set the name and the PIN to the values below, and the player you're controlling's head will turn into one of these characters (you should hear "lights out baby!" if the code is successful). If you pass the ball to a teammate, their head become the chosen character.

Vs. screen special codes
As with several other Midway arcade games, "special codes" can be set on the "vs" screen. There are three digits manipulated by pressing TURBO (left), HURDLE (middle) and PASS (right). You must then press a direction button:
